Susan McEachern (born April 7, 1951) is an American/Canadian artist who currently lives in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, Canada with her family. Her artwork has been shown internationally in Korea, New Zealand, Poland, the United States, as well as all over Canada. She has also lectured extensively across Canada. Susan McEachern is best known for her photography, which frequently includes text. Her work follows the feminist idea of "the personal is political," as she often combines images of her own life and personal space to investigate and comment on themes of socialization, gender, sexuality, and the natural world. McEachern has been the recipient of the Canada Council grants nine times from 1983 to 2009.〔''Past recipients.'' Canadian Council for the Arts, n.d.
